It was such a beautiful day for a proposal..the sun was shining, it was actually warm out (you never know with Michigan weather), and the Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn was the perfect romantic place for the occasion. Julie was so surprised to see Josh, he hadn't told her that he was coming to visit so it was definitely a happy moment. And it got even happier. Josh brought paper and markers for them to both take turns writing down what they loved about each other. Her smile says it all... The perfect way to end a day, watching the sunset with your new fiance. :)

Dear mom, You've taught me and Rachel love from day one. You taught us to forgive and forget, to appreciate the thoughtfulness of others, and to not take for granted the good things in life. You taught us kindness, even when it hurts. Your strength and positivity is inspiring and encouraging, and I admire it so much...You are the most incredible, beautiful, and loving woman that I know and I'm so blessed to call you my mom! Thank you for being my best friend and my role model. I don't know what I would do without you! I hope that today is filled with all of the goodness that you deserve and more. Love, Joelle I love you mom!!!
Nicole and I met last summer through one of my high school friends (Nicole and her are actually cousins). They along with my sister and I went to the Chicago Food Fair together, which was super claustrophobic and a little expensive, but a lot of fun. Now, a year later Nicole messaged me wanting to book a session! It was so nice to be able to spend time with her again and enjoy some absolutely beautiful weather in the city. Chicago was gorgeous that day! The blossoms were so beautiful... I just love her smile! FUN FACT! Did you know that The Bean is actually called The Cloud Gate? It's because 80% of its surface is meant to show the sky. I really like going to the top of parking garages in cities to shoot. This one had some great backgrounds! And Nicole didn't have to do anything but smile! Nicole, thank you so much for asking me to take some portraits for you! It was good medicine for me to be able to see you again and spend some time in the city. Thank you!
She wanted only two things for her shoot: flowers and silks. She got them both and I'm in love with the outcomes. We took some of her photos at Vite Greenhouse in Buchanan, MI. This was the first time either of us had been there and we were both awestruck with how beautiful it was! It was flower heaven! Then came the silks... Thank you so much Luz for asking me to take your Senior photos! I enjoyed it immensely, all the best to you in your next steps!
